Spain offers a vast variety of culture and landscape. Visiting a friend on exchange in Madrid, I toured Madrid and then headed together to Valencia.

A trip to Spain must include food. From ham-filled mushrooms to cider-roasted chorizo, jamon sandwiches to croquettes to fresh churros, the options are just endless. 🥘

Valencia was simply paradise. After renting bikes, we toured the palm tree city to find a gracious balance of old architecture and new.

With a healthy amount of sangria as well as calamari tapas, we continued our adventure.

One of my favourite places on Earth is probably the City of Arts and Science. Hosting Europe’s largest museum as well as architecture by Calatrava and Candela, the area was stunning.
